APC National Convention: Oyo Gets Formidable Representative In National Executive Committee – Olaosebikan Congratulates Olugbenga Olayemi, Others

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State has been assured of a strong and effective representation in the newly inaugurated National Executive Committee of the party with the election of Honorable Olugbenga Olayemi as the Deputy National Auditor, representing Oyo State.

A chieftain of the party, Alhaji Kehinde Olaosebikan, gave the assurance in a congratulatory message to Honourable Olayemi and all the elected officers over their emergence as the new national executives of the APC.

Olaosebikan, in a statement issued in Ibadan, Sunday, described Olayemi as a strong, purposeful, resourceful, and committed politician with profound antecedents in administration and party management

Irrespective of the position allotted to Oyo State and being occupied by Honourable Olayemi, Olaosebikan guaranteed party members that the new deputy national auditor would be effective in the discharge of his duty and as well vibrantly and adequately represent the interests of the state at the centre.

His words: ‘’From my personal experience and knowledge of Honourable Olayemi when he was the Secretary of Ibadan South West Local Government Council while I served as the Chief Press Secretary to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, the Late Alhaji Lam Adesina, he showed strength and purposefulness in service. He was never a pushover.

‘’Olugbenga Olayemi exhibited similar traits when he was the Chairman of the Oyo State Youth Development Agency, where he provided exemplary leadership that led to unprecedented accomplishments by the agency

‘’With him representing us in the National Executive Committee, not minding the position he is occupying, Oyo State APC should be rest assured that we have a formidable national officer who is versatile, competent and capable to protect and defend our interest, outstandingly.’’

Olaosebikan congratulated the new deputy national auditor, saying that his election was an opportunity for him to excel at the national level.

While congratulating all the new national executive officers, the House of Representatives hopeful for Oluyole Federal Constituency praised the leadership of the National Chairman of the party, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda and the re-elected executive officers for the success of the congresses and the national convention.
