Olaosebikan, Tinubu Loyalist, Wins Oluyole APC House Of Reps Primary

political heavyweight and All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Hon. Olaosebikan, popularly known as “Call Me Kenny”, has emerged winner of the party primaries for Oluyole Federal Constituency after polling about 1,200 votes, defeating Hon. Gbolagade Abiodun, who scored approximately 900 votes in a closely contested exercise.

The primary election, marked by intense competition and strong turnout of delegates, further reinforced Kenny’s deep-rooted influence within the party structure and his widespread acceptance across party leadership, youth blocs, and community stakeholders in Oluyole.

In his formal declaration for the position prior to the primaries, Olaosebikan made a bold political statement, positioning himself as the most prepared and widely embraced candidate for the ticket.

“I am the best man for this job. I have been accepted by leaders, youths, and communities across Oluyole. Call me Kenny. I am ready to take responsibility and deliver results that will transform our electoral strength,” he declared.

He further set an ambitious target for the party, pledging a significant expansion of its electoral base in the constituency.

“I will not only win; I will triple the votes for our party in Oluyole Federal Constituency,” he added, drawing loud endorsement from supporters in attendance.

A seasoned political operator, Olaosebikan brings decades of administrative and political experience, having served as Chairman of Oluyole Local Government and Chief Press Secretary to the late former Governor of Oyo State, Lam Adesina. His long-standing involvement in grassroots politics has continued to shape his reputation as a mobilizer with strong local penetration.

He is also a prominent figure within the All Progressives Congress and a known loyalist of President Bola Tinubu, consistently advocating stronger electoral consolidation for the ruling party across Oyo State.

His victory over Hon. Gbolagade Abiodun underscores a keenly fought contest that reflected both the competitiveness of the primaries and the evolving dynamics within the party structure in Oluyole.
